Summary

• Main duties will include weeding, grass and hedge cutting, edging, digging, planting and other grounds maintenance duties as and when required

• You must be able to use small petrol-driven machinery and comply with the company's health and safety policies in this hands-on role

• Timekeeping – ensuring jobs are carried out on time and to the correct standard

• Ensure that your team members are conducting themselves properly (i.e. working to correct standards, wearing the correct PPE, not spending time on phone, smoking etc)

• Liaising with customers

• Making sure that equipment is safe to use

• To ensure that jobs are carried out safely

• Helping other staff with their jobs – answering questions they may have

• To communicate as much as possible

• To give the best possible image for the company and to deliver to the best of your ability
