Events & Marketing OfficerAbout the RoleThe The Henley College is seeking a creative and motivated Events & Marketing Officer to join our Marketing, Communications and Engagement team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in promoting the College to prospective students, parents, schools, alumni and the wider community.Working as part of a dynamic marketing team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of College events, creating engaging marketing communications, and supporting the College's digital presence. From producing social media content and updating the website to coordinating recruitment events, building relationships with schools and community partners, and developing alumni activities, this is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.This role is ideal for a highly organised and creative individual who is passionate about events, marketing and community engagement, and enjoys working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone with creativity, strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will have:EssentialLevel 3 qualification or equivalentGCSE English and MathsFull UK Driving LicenceExperience creating and updating content for social media platformsExperience producing high-quality written content for online and/or print audiencesExperience using digital tools to create engaging contentKnowledge of marketing principles and audience engagementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCreative thinking and the ability to generate new ideasEnthusiasm for engaging with students, staff and external stakeholdersDesirableDegree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related subjectTraining or certification in digital marketing, social media management or graphic designExperience within a marketing role, ideally in an educational settingExperience with website content management systemsKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesignExperience in photography, videography or content editingExperience of alumni engagementAbout Us – The Henley CollegeThe Henley College is a leading sixth form college serving young people and adult learners from across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
