Job Advert

We seek to recruit temporary roadworkers to Falkirk Council Roads Services. As the successful candidate you will be working with the Roads Operations Team undertaking a variety of road maintenance and construction tasks.

You will be required to drive a gritter on a standby rotation out of hours basis.

Applicants for these posts should be able to demonstrate practical knowledge and experience of the works listed above. A high attention to health and safety on site is also required.

An SVQ Level 2 in Highway Maintenance or equivalent is desirable. A current driving licence is essential, and a category C licence is essential as you will be required to use Falkirk Council’s vehicles and plant on site.

These posts are temporary until April 2027 due to service requirement.
