Summary

About the Role

DSB Premier Construction is engaging Trade Subcontractors/Subcontractor Teams to deliver defined work packages on residential construction projects.

We are looking for experienced subcontractor teams who can manage and execute complete trade packages such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plastering, painting, roofing, and similar residential works.

You will coordinate with the Site Manager and Site Supervisor to ensure all work is delivered in line with approved drawings, specifications, programme timelines, and health and safety requirements.

The subcontractor will be responsible for the planning, resourcing, coordination, quality and successful completion of the agreed trade package in accordance with the subcontract scope, programme and project requirements.

What You Will Do

- Deliver assigned packages of work in accordance with drawings, specifications and agreed scope.

- Plan and organise labour, materials, tools, equipment and workflow for your package.

- Review drawings and project information before starting work and raise any missing, conflicting or unclear information.

- Ensure workmanship meets DSB quality standards and rectify defects promptly where required.

- Coordinate with other trades and follow the agreed programme and sequence of works.

- Monitor the progress of your package and communicate any delays, risks or issues to the Site Manager.

- Comply with project health and safety requirements, including approved RAMS and site procedures.

- Maintain sufficient labour and resources to meet agreed programme dates and milestones.

- Take responsibility for your team's work through to completion and handover of the package.

- Provide adequate supervision for your own workforce and ensure operatives are appropriately skilled and competent for the works being undertaken.

- Plan ahead and identify labour, material, access or information requirements that could affect programme or delivery.

- Attend relevant site coordination meetings where required.

- Complete snagging and defects associated with your package within agreed timescales.

Depending on the project, opportunities may include:

- Groundworks & Drainage – £5,000 to £150,000+

- Brickwork & Blockwork – £5,000 to £100,000+

- Structural Works – £10,000 to £150,000+

- Carpentry, 1st & 2nd Fix – £5,000 to £100,000+

- Roofing – £5,000 to £100,000+

- Drylining & Plastering – £5,000 to £75,000+

- Tiling & Stonework – £5,000 to £75,000+

- Painting & Decorating – £5,000 to £100,000+

- Landscaping & External Works – £10,000 to £150,000+

- Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) – £10,000 to £200,000+

- Complete Refurbishment / Multi-Trade Packages – £25,000 to £500,000+

Important: These figures are indicative package values only. Actual contract values will depend on the project, scope of works, programme, specification, team capability, team size and whether the package is labour-only or includes the supply of materials.
