Infrastructure Graduate

Location: Nottingham

Salary: Competitive

Interview date: November/December 2026

Start date: July - September 2027

Creating a future to be proud of.

We are looking for ambitious students with a background in/knowledge of the sector to join our growing Infrastructure teams in

Nottingham, London and Bristol on a 3-year Graduate Programme.

Society faces a range of complex challenges, including housing shortages, the transition to cleaner energy, climate adaptation,

biodiversity enhancement and the need for sustainable infrastructure. Within our Infrastructure team, we help clients and

communities respond to these challenges across both urban and rural environments. It's a fascinating and varied area of work,

offering the opportunity to contribute to projects that have a lasting impact on people, places and the environment.

The team:

Our people are dynamic, high performing, ambitious professionals who strive to lead the way forward in our industry. With people

and progression at the heart of our values, we provide a nurturing, supportive environment through collaboration, teamwork and

professional development.

Our infrastructure team is the fastest growing of its kind in the country, now with over 200 people in offices around the UK,

working with major clients including Network Rail, HS2, National Grid, Homes England and the Crown Estate.

Operating in both rural and urban environments, our Infrastructure graduates are directly involved in delivering the world we need

for the 21st Century and beyond. We cover an array of services to clients within the following sectors:

* Energy

* Minerals & Waste

* Regeneration

* Telecommunications

* Utilities

* Transport

* Geospatial / GIS

* Property / Asset management

What will it take to be successful?

We're looking for ambitious and enthusiastic individuals who are studying towards a relevant RICS-accredited degree and have an

interest in the infrastructure property sector. Experience within surveying, particularly exposure to valuation or compulsory

purchase, is beneficial, but it's your attitude, potential and willingness to learn that will set you apart.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, an inquisitive thinker and a natural problem solver who enjoys working

with others to achieve shared goals. You'll be highly motivated, keen to develop your skills and comfortable working in a

fast-moving environment where no two days are the same.

Our promise to you:

We offer a supportive team environment and the opportunity to develop your knowledge of all aspects of infrastructure surveying in

our offices. Independence and individual responsibility will develop as candidates gain experience throughout the 3-year Graduate

programme.

At Carter Jonas, we're committed to supporting graduates and placement students throughout their professional development. Those

working towards the APC will benefit from a structured training programme designed to develop the technical knowledge,

professional competencies and confidence required to achieve chartership.

Our APC candidates receive support from dedicated supervisors and counsellors, alongside access to workshops, mock assessments,

networking opportunities and learning sessions delivered by experienced colleagues from across the business. Candidates also

benefit from insights and guidance from recently qualified surveyors, helping them navigate the APC process with confidence.

Application process

You will be asked to respond to a number of questions about your work experience as well as your motivations and interest in a

career in property as well as any extracurricular activities. We ask you to provide reference contact details, one educational and

one employment. If successful, you will be invited to attend an interview in November.

AI use in our recruitment process

At Carter Jonas we support the advancements in technology to help grow our business. However, people remain at the core of who we

are, and this is instilled into our recruitment process. You may utilise artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms to

support you during the application process, however, as with any application all information submitted must be factually accurate

and all examples provided must be taken directly from your own experience.

Application deadline: 12th October 2026.
