Summary

British Sign Language (BSL) Support Workers - Level 2 & Level 3

Supporting Learners Aged 16-19

Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for passionate and experienced

British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Support Workers to work with

students aged 16-19 at leading Further Education colleges.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting deaf and hearing-impaired learners to achieve their full potential in an inclusive learning environment.

The Role

Provide 1:1 and classroom support for deaf learners aged 16-19.

Communicate confidently using British Sign Language (BSL).

Support students to access lessons, college activities and assessments.

Work closely with lecturers and learning support teams.

Encourage independence, confidence and academic success.

Essential Requirements

Recognised British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (essential).

Previous experience supporting young people or adults in education, SEND or a similar setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive, reliable and professional approach.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
