We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor on behalf of our client, a well-respected family-run garage located in Haslemere, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, customer-focused automotive professional to join a friendly and expanding team.

Duties of the Service Advisor role include:

- Providing excellent customer service and managing service bookings effectively

- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers regarding vehicle repairs and scheduled services

- Liaising with the workshop to facilitate accurate job explanations and recommendations

- Assisting with vehicle maintenance schedules and prioritising job workflow

- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

- Using in-house and manufacturer-specific IT systems for documentation and job management

- Maintaining clear communication between customers and technicians to ensure transparency and efficiency

Requirements for the Service Advisor role:

- Automotive knowledge and a genuine passion for vehicles and vehicle brands

- Technical understanding; technician bias is advantageous but not essential

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- Customer-focused attitude with a professional demeanour

- Experience in a similar automotive role is preferred

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
