Summary

Are you an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver looking for regular daytime work, consistent weekday hours and straightforward driving with no manual handling?

We’re recruiting Class 1 Drivers for a long-term opportunity with a reputable logistics operation based in Colwick, Nottingham. With organised routes and dependable hours, this role offers a good balance between steady work and time away from the job at weekends.

The Role

You’ll be completing trunking runs with a maximum of three deliveries per shift. This means less time spent on multi-drop deliveries and unloading, allowing you to focus primarily on the driving.

The position offers:

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

Current Digital Tachograph Card

Valid Driver CPC qualification

Must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes

Previous Class 1 driving experience in a similar role

Reliable and professional approach

Ongoing temp work is available.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

Start times between 07:00am and 09:00am

Shifts typically last 10–12 hours

Approximately 50–60 hours per week

Ongoing work with dependable weekly hours

Pay and Benefits

£15.00 per hour PAYE

£18.00+ per hour through an Umbrella pay option

Up to 28 days’ paid holiday per year, pro rata

Long-term, ongoing employment

Consistent Monday-to-Friday shifts

Regular daytime hours
