Summary

Regular trunking work with no handballing involved!

We are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established transport operation. This role offers reliable Monday-to-Friday work, with straightforward depot-to-depot trunking and consistent hours.

Depending on the day's requirements, you may be completing regional or national trunking routes with a curtain-sided trailer. All loading and unloading is carried out using forklift trucks, meaning there is no manual handling required.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting loads between depots while ensuring your routes are completed efficiently and in line with company procedures.

The position offers:

Depot-to-depot trunking

Regional and national routes

Curtain-sided trailers

No handballing

Loading and unloading completed by forklift

Consistent Monday-to-Friday work

Approximately 55 hours per week

RTWTR regulations apply

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

A valid UK Driving Licence with Category CE (Class 1) entitlement

A valid Digital Tachograph Card

A valid Driver CPC Card

Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience

No more than 6 penalty points for minor motoring offences, for insurance purposes

No DR, DD, IN, CU or MS convictions

This is an ongoing temporary position.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

Generally 06:00 – 17:00

Approximately 55 hours per week

Regular and consistent work

Pay and Benefits

£18.50 per hour

Up to 28 days' annual leave accrued
