Summary

Lunchtime Supervisor – Primary School

Part-Time Term Time Only Immediate Start Available

 

Our client is a welcoming primary school and nursery catering for pupils aged 3–11, located in Great Hockham and part of the Sapientia Education Trust. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing and supportive environment where children are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

The school benefits from a strong community ethos, supportive leadership, and a dedicated team committed to ensuring that all pupils feel safe, valued, and supported throughout the school day.

Duties as Lunchtime Supervisor:

  • Supervise pupils during lunch breaks
  • Promote positive behaviour and good manners
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times
  • Support pupils in the dining hall and playground
  • Encourage positive social interaction and inclusive play
  • Resolve minor incidents and report concerns where necessary
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and orderly lunchtime environment

Ideal Lunchtime Supervisor:

  • Experience working with children is desirable
  • Friendly, patient, and approachable nature
  • Ability to engage positively with pupils of different ages
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
  • Reliable and punctual approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
