Summary

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in covering the Anglian Water region.

Location: Covering the Anglian Water region Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Northampton, Norfolk and East Essex Hours: Perm, Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of our allocated portfolio. You'll work collaboratively with operational teams and clients to protect contractual entitlements, maximise value, and support the delivery of safe and effective projects. This is an opportunity to develop your commercial skills while contributing to meaningful infrastructure work.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering effective commercial management across the portfolio. Your day to day will include:

-Managing day-to-day commercial requirements and preparing contractual notifications, compensation events and quotations

-Maintaining accurate change registers, forecasts, applications and cost reports

-Working closely with operational teams to understand project progress, costs and changes

-Supporting procurement activities, subcontract management and payment processes

-Identifying commercial risks and opportunities early and escalating them appropriately

What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-You have a relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or are working towards one

-You have experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role with a good understanding of cost control and forecasting

-You have strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with competency in Excel and Microsoft Office

-You communicate clearly and confidently with operational teams, clients and subcontractors

-You're proactive, organised and committed to developing your commercial capability
