Summary

his is a 12-month, full-time, home-based role with Nacro, covering London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex, with regular travel across the area. The salary starts at £28,851 per year, with potential progression to £29,572 within the first year, subject to performance.

The role sits within Nacro’s Community Accommodation Service, Tier 2 (CAS-2), which provides short-term accommodation and support to people on bail or licence who do not have a suitable address.

Main responsibilities

Stakeholder engagement: Build relationships with HMPPS, prison, court and probation staff, community organisations and other partners.

Engagement activities: Organise and deliver meetings, presentations and events, adapting communication for different audiences.

Resident involvement: Engage with CAS-2 residents to gather their views and feedback about the service.

Data and insight: Use Excel and other information to analyse referrals, resident journeys, experiences and service performance.

Reporting: Produce accurate monthly performance reports and identify trends, themes and recommendations.

Organisation: Manage your own diary, competing priorities, travel and deadlines while maintaining accurate records.

Teamwork and judgement: Work collaboratively, use evidence to make decisions, respond to feedback and escalate issues when appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have:

Good Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

Experience engaging with different stakeholders and delivering meetings, events or presentations.

Experience analysing both quantitative and qualitative information.

Good organisation and diary-management skills.

The ability to manage competing priorities and regular travel.

Good judgement and the confidence to seek advice when necessary.

A full driving licence, own vehicle and business insurance.

Important requirements

You must be based in London, Kent, Surrey or Sussex.

You must be willing and able to travel regularly across the allocated area.

No visa sponsorship is available.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS, BPSS and HMPPS check.
