Summary
Marketing Work under the direction of the International Business Development Manager to support delivery of the marketing plan for the programme. Plan, execute and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns. Create and edit engaging content for the website, email, social media, newsletters and other digital platforms. Write, proofread and edit content for different audiences, ensuring clarity, accuracy, accessibility and consistency of messaging. Plan, build, test and analyse email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversions. Manage social media scheduling, day-to-day engagement and basic reporting. Update and optimise the website as required. Ensure consistent use of branding and act as a Brand Champion. Produce marketing collateral and presentations, maintaining corporate identity standards. Use design and publishing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Trust approved tools) to create digital and print-ready marketing materials, as required. Maintain a marketing activity calendar, including key awareness days, national NHS campaigns and promotional opportunities. Conduct basic market research and competitor scanning to identify trends and opportunities. Contribute practical marketing ideas to support effective engagement. Provide on-site support for filming, photography and production activities. Data and Analytics Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to interpret insights and inform future marketing activity. Collect, analyse and interpret data from campaigns, email, social media and website traffic (including GA4). Prepare and present regular reports on performance and engagement metrics. Identify issues, opportunities or risks and escalate as appropriate. Maintain accurate data across marketing systems including CRM databases, analytics dashboards and shared drives. Manage and update distribution and mailing lists to support effective stakeholder communication. Support basic audits of marketing and communication content, digital platforms or data as required for quality improvement. Ensure all data is stored and managed in line with Trust information governance standards. Communications Coordinate communications activity for campaigns, events and service activity, including updating the communications campaign planner. Support the Marketing Manager in delivering internal and external communications for the programme. Contribute to proactive and reactive communications to raise the profile and understanding of the Alliances work across public, patient, staff and partner audiences. Write, edit and proofread communication materials for internal and external audiences. Act as a point of contact for routine marketing and communications enquiries, responding promptly and professionally. Provide and receive complex and sensitive information relating to media enquiries. Liaise with internal teams and external partners to gather, verify and check information before publication. Content Creation and Management Support the team in promoting the programmes initiatives via communication channels. Create content for social media channels, aligned with PR stories and national NHS initiatives. Gather and upload content to the programmes website and social media channels. Maintain and refresh core communication content to ensure accuracy and relevance. Maintain organised digital asset libraries, including images, artwork, video content and media coverage archives. Advertise events and activities on relevant internal and external websites to maximise reach. Social Media Monitoring and Engagement Monitor social media coverage relating to the programme and share insights with colleagues and stakeholders. Maintain tracking documents and prepare reporting presentations when required. Support monitoring and responding to social media comments using approved copy. Assist with social media engagement where it aligns with wider campaign communications. Monitor digital content for timeliness, accuracy and accessibility, escalating issues where required. Stakeholder Engagement Support engagement with internal and external stakeholders, gathering content, updates and opportunities for marketing or communications use. Liaise with teams across the organisation to ensure messaging is accurate, timely and aligned with service priorities. Administrative and Project Support Work on communications or marketing projects as agreed with the Marketing Manager. Carry out administrative duties including managing image files and distributing content to stakeholders. Maintain accurate filing systems, shared drives and documentation. Demonstrate routine marketing and communications tasks to new or less experienced colleagues as required. Attend and contribute to team meetings, sharing updates on communications and marketing activity. Maintain confidentiality at all times and comply with the Data Protection Act and GDPR when handling sensitive or personal information. Support budget monitoring activities by maintaining simple budgetary records for marketing and communications spend. Raise purchase orders and process invoices in line with Trust financial procedures.
