Summary
To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team. The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken by an experienced registered Nurse and in addition any roles agreed between the nurse and the doctors as appropriate, having regard to current training. Requirements and Qualifications: Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and full nurse qualification. Primary Care nursing experience Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Good team working skills You must have full UK working eligibility Offer subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS check Qualifications Essential Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and full nurse qualification. Accredited to carry out cervical screening and women's health consultations, children's and adult's vaccinations - both routine and for travel or ad hoc Familiar with managing chronic long-term conditions through annual and ad hoc reviews - giving advice and recommending further assessment by GP, Community, Specialists where indicated You must have previous experience working as a nurse in general practice You must have full UK working entitlement Desirable Womens Health: experience fitting implants and pessaries would be useful though not essential
