Summary
SGS LOGISTICS LTD is a growing company operating within the transportation and storage sector. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Distribution Manager to oversee our logistics and distribution operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the Company's daily distribution and logistics operations.
• Plan and coordinate delivery schedules, transport routes and resource allocation.
• Supervise distribution and warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and performance.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and transport providers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Monitor stock movement, warehouse dispatch activities and inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, transport regulations and company procedures.
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenditure.
• Prepare operational and performance reports for senior management.
• Develop and implement improvements to distribution processes and logistics systems.
• Resolve operational issues and ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
