Lead the operational management and strategic development of a specialist Haematology Service within the Cancer Services Division, supporting a broad portfolio of malignant and non-malignant haematology services, including stem cell transplantation, coagulation and red cell disorders. The role combines operational leadership, workforce management and service planning to ensure the delivery of high-quality care for patients with complex needs. Responsibilities include driving service performance, patient experience, innovation and transformation initiatives, while managing complex HR matters and workforce challenges. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders across the organisation, the postholder provides visible and effective leadership, contributes to strategic decision-making, and supports the continued development of a nationally recognised haematology service.
