Leeds is the level 1 surgical centre for the Yorkshire & Humber Congenital Heart Disease Network and a quaternary paediatric liver unit including liver transplant. What you will bring to the role GPhC registration and a postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy, or equivalent experience or qualification. Substantial post-registration experience as a practising clinical pharmacist. Advanced clinical pharmacy knowledge and the ability to apply this to complex patient care. Experience of managing complex clinical situations, analysing information from a range of sources and making appropriate clinical recommendations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families and a wide range of healthcare professionals. Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills and the confidence to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to support, supervise and develop other members of the pharmacy team. Excellent organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing clinical demands. A collaborative, motivated and patient-centred approach, with a commitment to improving the quality and safety of medicines use.
