Domestic Assistant – Central Park Rehabilitation Unit, Manchester

We are currently recruiting for aDomestic Assistantto join the team atCentral Park Rehabilitation Unit, Manchester.

Position Details

• Role:Domestic Assistant

• Location:Central Park Rehabilitation Unit, Manchester

• Hours Available:1 x 20-hour position

• Working Pattern:Monday to Friday

• Shifts:Early and late shifts

• Additional Requirements:Occasional weekend working may be required to meet service needs

• Cleaning Duties:Perform routine and deep cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, toilets, and clinical areas to meet infection control standards.

• Waste Management:Safely dispose of clinical and domestic waste following NHS protocols.

• Use of Equipment:Operate cleaning machinery (e.g., floor buffers, vacuum cleaners) and ensure proper maintenance.

• Stock Management:Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages.

• Compliance:Follow health and safety regulations, COSHH guidelines, and infection prevention procedures.
