Summary

Service Advisor – Orpington

We are recruiting for a Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor or Customer Service Advisor to join a busy dealership in Orpington. Previous Service Advisor experience is desirable but not essential, with strong customer-facing candidates also considered. Applicants must have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Job Details:

Location: Orpington

Salary: £35,000 basic + bonus, OTE £40,000

Sign-On Bonus: £1,000 in month one + £1,000 after 12 months

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 - 6, 1 in 5 Saturdays 8 - 12.30

Service Advisor Role

- Act as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop

- Manage customers throughout the vehicle service and repair process

- Set clear expectations and provide regular progress updates

- Explain required work, costs and additional services clearly

- Identify and recommend relevant additional products and services

- Follow up with customers after completed work to ensure satisfaction

- Work towards customer service, sales and performance targets

Service Advisor Requirements

- Previous Service Advisor or Aftersales experience is desirable but not essential

- Strong customer service or customer-facing experience

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Confident working in a busy, target-driven environment

- Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple customers

- Comfortable identifying and discussing additional products and services

- Full UK Driving Licence – essential

- Right to work in the UK
