Summary

Vehicle Technician – Hendon

We are recruiting for experienced Vehicle Technicians, Automotive Technicians, Motor Vehicle Technicians or Service Technicians to join a growing dealership workshop in Hendon. Ideally, applicants will hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, although experienced Level 2 Technicians will also be considered. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Job Details:

Location: Hendon

Salary: £34,000 basic + bonus, OTE £45,000

Hours: Flexible weekday shifts of 7:30am–5:00pm, 8:00am–5:30pm or 8:00am–6:00pm, No Weekends!

Vehicle Technician Role

- Carry out scheduled vehicle servicing and maintenance

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

- Complete electronic vehicle health checks and report additional work

- Carry out general mechanical repairs to a high standard

- Liaise with Service Advisors regarding technical and repair requirements

- Complete work safely and efficiently to required quality standards

- Maintain current technical knowledge through ongoing training

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent is preferred

- Experienced Level 2 qualified Technicians will also be considered at an appropriate salary

- Ideally 2+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or similar

- Main dealership experience is advantageous, but specific brand experience is not essential

- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving ability

- Good attention to detail and workshop efficiency

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Right to work in the UK
