Summary

Vehicle Technician Vacancy

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a busy dealership workshop in Finchley Road. Applicants should ideally hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, although experienced Level 2 dealership Technicians may also be considered. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required. An MOT Tester Licence is advantageous but not essential.

Job Details:

Location: Finchley Road, London

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 basic + bonus, OTE: £60,000+, uncapped earning potential

Hours: Monday - Friday, Saturdays on a rota

Vehicle Technician Role

- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards

- Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs accurately

- Inspect components for wear, damage and replacement requirements

- Work to workshop efficiency targets without compromising quality

- Liaise with Service Advisors and Workshop Control to maintain an efficient workflow

- Provide technical advice where required

- Support fellow Technicians and contribute to workshop knowledge sharing

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent is preferred

- Experienced Level 2 dealership Technicians may also be considered

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic

- Strong mechanical repair, diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- Ability to achieve efficiency targets while maintaining high standards

- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Right to work in the UK

- MOT Tester Licence is advantageous but not essential
