Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
• Strong industryexpertise– at least 3 years’ practical experience in the relevant business area, with the occupational knowledge and qualifications to support apprentice development.
• A commitment to learner success– able to set challenging but achievable targets, motivate apprentices and provide effective support to help them achieve.
• Teaching and assessment capability– an assessing or teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
• Confident digital skills– comfortable using IT and online portfolio systems to support learning,assessmentand progress.
• Excellent communication skills– able to build positive, professional relationships with apprentices,employersand colleagues.
• Organised and proactive– able to use your initiative, work collaboratively and represent Yeovil College professionally.
