Summary

LPC Components Ltd is looking for a Logistics Assistant to join our team in Coundon, Bishop Auckland.

The role is primarily based within our stores and logistics area and involves receiving, checking and logging deliveries, organising and storing materials and components, and picking and preparing materials for factory production.

You will manage customer call-off orders, carry out basic quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods, and pack, label and prepare finished orders for despatch. You will also ensure goods and associated paperwork are correct and report any shortages, damage or discrepancies.

The role includes maintaining stock and stores records, updating basic spreadsheets and shared electronic documents, and regular communication with production staff and our Sales and Production offices, including by telephone.

You will also assist with other day-to-day stores and logistics duties as required and help maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 36 hours per week. Full on-the-job training will be provided.
