We are looking for a compassionate and motivated

Housing Support Assistant to join our team in St Agnes, Chiswick. This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals in maintaining stable accommodation, developing independent living skills, and improving their overall wellbeing.

As a Housing Support Assistant, you will provide practical and emotional support to residents, helping them sustain their tenancies and work towards greater independence.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred housing-related support to individuals with a range of needs.

Assist residents with developing independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and managing household responsibilities.

Support service users to access healthcare, benefits, employment, education, and community services.

Help residents maintain their accommodation and comply with tenancy agreements.

Maintain accurate records, support plans, and case notes.

Work closely with housing providers, local authorities, and partner agencies.

Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work.

Respond appropriately to welfare concerns and follow organisational policies and procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in housing support, homelessness services, social care, or a similar support role is desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A caring, empathetic, and professional approach.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Right to work in the UK.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), where applicable.
