Summary

Salary - £30,117 per annum (£16.23 per hour)

Hours - Full-time, 35.75 hours per week ( 4 weeks shift pattern, mix of early and lates. Earliest start is 7.45am and latest finish is 10.30pm with 2 weekend out of 4)

Contract - Temporary, until 31st of December 2026

Location - Edinburgh International Climbing Arena: Ratho

We are looking for a motivated and people-focused colleague to join us as an Operations Supervisor at EICA. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build their confidence, take on more responsibility, and gain hands-on experience leading shifts and supporting a busy venue.

What You’ll Do:

- Support the day-to-day operation of the venue and lead shifts effectively

- Lead, motivate, and support team members to deliver excellent customer service

- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for staff and customers

- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a calm and professional manner

- Ensure health and safety procedures and operational standards are followed

What You’ll Bring:

- A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- The ability to stay organised and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent customer service skills and confidence dealing with a range of situations

- Experience leading, supporting, or motivating others would be beneficial

Closing Date - Wednesday, 23rd September
