Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated healthcare professional to join the senior healthcare team at HMP Humber as Clinical Team Manager.
Working closely with the Head of Healthcare, you will provide visible clinical and operational leadership to the Primary Care team, supporting the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality healthcare across a large and complex prison environment.
You will lead and support a multidisciplinary nursing team, oversee day-to-day service delivery and help drive improvements in patient care, quality, performance and patient experience. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across healthcare, pharmacy, substance misuse and mental health services, as well as prison and other partner agencies.
We are looking for a compassionate and approachable leader who can support and develop staff, manage competing operational demands and maintain high standards of clinical care and governance.

Working alongside the Head of Healthcare, the Clinical Team Manager will provide day-to-day operational and clinical leadership to the Primary Care team at HMP Humber.
The role includes managing daily staffing and clinical resources, supporting and developing staff, monitoring performance and quality, and ensuring that safe and effective care is delivered consistently across the establishment.
You will have an important role in clinical governance, including incidents and learning, audit, complaints, risk management, patient experience and readiness for external inspection. You will use performance and clinical information to identify areas for improvement and support the implementation of changes in practice.
You will work closely with Senior/Lead Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team, together with prison colleagues and partner organisations, to ensure services are well coordinated and responsive to patient need.
The post holder will deputise for and represent the Head of Healthcare as required and will be expected to provide visible, supportive leadership across the establishment.
