Summary

The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing activities for DanceTalk Studios Ltd and support the company's continued growth in the London market.

The role is responsible for marketing planning, digital marketing, social media, content development, customer acquisition, market research, partnerships, workshops and event promotion.

The successful candidate will be expected to understand the company's target customers, monitor market trends and develop practical marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, attract new students and encourage existing customers to remain engaged with the studio.

The role combines marketing strategy, data analysis, content management and hands-on campaign execution, requiring the ability to work independently and manage multiple marketing activities in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Planning & Campaign Management

Develop and implement annual, quarterly and monthly marketing plans in line with the company's business objectives.

Plan and manage marketing campaigns for regular dance classes, new courses, workshops and events.

Develop promotional strategies for new classes and programmes.

Coordinate campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu and other relevant digital platforms.

Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to customer acquisition, engagement and conversion.

Coordinate with external marketing, photography, video and creative suppliers where required.

2. Social Media & Content Marketing

Develop and manage the company's social media marketing strategy.

Create and maintain content calendars for Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu and other relevant platforms.

Plan and coordinate social media posts, short-form videos, dance clips, class previews and promotional content.

Develop marketing copy for classes, workshops and events.

Coordinate with instructors and creative suppliers to obtain suitable marketing content.

Monitor social media engagement, audience growth and content performance.

Identify relevant social media and youth culture trends and incorporate them into marketing activities.

3. Customer Acquisition & Engagement

Develop marketing campaigns to attract new students to DanceTalk Studios.

Analyse customer demographics and behaviour to identify effective acquisition channels.

Develop campaigns specifically targeting Chinese students and young professionals living in London.

Monitor enquiries, bookings and customer engagement.

Develop initiatives to encourage repeat attendance and customer retention.

Analyse customer feedback and recommend improvements to marketing and customer engagement activities.

4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

Monitor trends in London's dance, fitness, lifestyle and youth markets.

Research developments in K-pop, Hip-hop, Jazz Funk and contemporary dance culture.

Conduct competitor research covering dance studios, classes, pricing, promotions and social media activity.

Identify changes in customer preferences and emerging market opportunities.

Prepare market research and competitor analysis for management.

Use market insights to inform future marketing campaigns and customer acquisition strategies.

5. Partnerships & Promotional Opportunities

Identify potential marketing partnerships with universities, student societies and relevant community organisations.

Research suitable influencers, content creators and dance-related communities.

Develop collaboration opportunities with relevant lifestyle, creative and dance organisations.

Support partnership proposals and promotional campaigns.

Maintain relationships with existing marketing partners.

Evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and collaborative campaigns.

6. Workshops, Events & Class Promotion

Develop marketing plans for new classes, workshops and special events.

Coordinate promotional campaigns before and during events.

Prepare social media and other promotional content.

Work with instructors and operational staff to ensure accurate communication of class and event information.

Monitor attendance and customer engagement following promotional activities.

Analyse event and workshop performance and recommend improvements.

7. Marketing Data & Reporting

Monitor social media engagement and marketing performance.

Review available booking, enquiry and customer data.

Track customer acquisition and campaign results.

Maintain marketing trackers, content calendars and campaign schedules.

Prepare regular marketing performance reports for management.

Identify underperforming activities and recommend corrective actions.

8. Internal Coordination

Coordinate marketing activities with management and studio operations.

Work with instructors to obtain information and content for upcoming classes and workshops.

Coordinate with photographers, videographers, influencers and other external suppliers.

Manage marketing deadlines and deliverables.

Provide regular updates to management regarding marketing activities, results and upcoming priorities.
