We are looking for a Security Assurance Manager to join ISS in a senior technical assurance role, responsible for setting standards and driving compliance across electronic security systems within a major UK Government facilities management contract. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting one of the UK's largest and most complex contracts, ensuring security systems remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose.

This is a hybrid, home-based position with regular travel to customer sites throughout the UK, typically 2-3 days per week, carrying out audits, inspections and assurance activities. Occasional attendance at the Stoke or Birmingham offices may also be required.

Job Description

As the technical authority for electronic security systems, you will work closely with operational teams, clients, contractors and key stakeholders to provide expert guidance, governance and assurance across a diverse portfolio of security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the subject matter expert for electronic security systems.

Lead security compliance audits, inspections and assurance reviews across customer sites nationwide.

Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards, client requirements and governance frameworks.

Develop and maintain security strategies, policies, procedures and technical standards.

Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams, account managers and senior stakeholders.

Review security system designs, maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle plans.

Monitor contractor performance and drive corrective actions to improve compliance and service delivery.

Investigate system failures, vulnerabilities and security incidents, ensuring effective resolutions are implemented.
