Summary

Recycling Officer needed in Clacton on Sea

This is a temporary role and the rate is £30.00ph PAYE

The reference number is: 23750

The successful candidate will lead kerbside compliance monitoring, engage proactively with customers and contractors to promote recycling and waste‑minimisation, and support Simpler Recycling requirements through regular contractor meetings. They will audit communal bin stores, introduce and champion improved recycling and food‑waste provisions, and provide clear guidance to residents.

Alongside this, they will coordinate container deliveries, handle public enquiries by phone and email, and carry out essential administrative and operational tasks to ensure the waste and recycling service runs efficiently.
