Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN)
£50,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week | Clinical & Supernumerary Hours

This beautifully designed home is the newest addition to a growing care group, providing high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care for older adults. The environment has been thoughtfully created to provide comfort and familiarity while supporting residents’ changing needs, independence and quality of life.
As Clinical Lead Nurse, your 40-hour week will include a mixture of clinical and supernumerary hours, giving you time to provide hands-on nursing care while also overseeing clinical practice, supporting the nursing team and driving consistently high standards across the home.
What We’re Looking For
Active
NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
Previous nursing home experience is essential
Senior nursing experience within a nursing or care home environment
Strong clinical knowledge across
older adult nursing and dementia care
Confidence leading and supporting nurses and care colleagues
Strong knowledge of medication management, care planning and clinical risk assessments
Good understanding of
safeguarding, clinical governance and regulatory requirements
Experience with clinical audits and quality improvement
Strong communication and decision-making skills
A compassionate, hands-on approach to clinical leadership

Your Role
- Provide visible clinical leadership across the home
- Work a combination of hands-on clinical and dedicated supernumerary hours
- Support, guide and develop nurses and care colleagues
- Maintain oversight of residents’ nursing needs and ensure care remains safe and person-centred
- Review care plans, medication management, risk assessments and clinical documentation
- Support residents living with nursing and dementia care needs
- Lead clinical audits and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Identify areas for improvement and support the team to maintain consistently high standards
- Maintain excellent safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance practices
- Work closely with residents, relatives and external healthcare professionals
- Support the wider management team with the clinical development of the home
- Help build a positive and confident nursing culture as the home continues to grow
