Hays Education are working with a range of primary schools across Coventry and the surrounding areas who are looking for part-time teachers throughout the academic year.

We regularly support schools with a variety of staffing requirements, including job-share arrangements, PPA cover, intervention roles, maternity cover and part-time class teaching positions. Many of these opportunities are available on a long-term basis and can offer consistency while maintaining flexibility.

Your new role

Part-time teaching can offer the perfect balance between remaining in the classroom and having greater flexibility around other commitments.

We are looking to hear from teachers interested in a range of part-time opportunities across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Roles can vary from regular weekly supply work through to long-term placements and fixed-term contracts.

Many of our partner schools are flexible on working patterns and are keen to hear from teachers looking for a reduced timetable.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting

Good knowledge of the primary curriculum

Strong classroom management skills

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A professional and reliable approach

The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
