Summary
Masstemps are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy warehouse operation in Bromsgrove.
The role involves picking and packing products, preparing orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch. You will be working as part of a friendly warehouse team in a clean and organised environment.
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking and has good attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Picking glasses frames accurately from warehouse locations.
• Using a handheld scan gun/scanner to process orders.
• Checking products and quantities against customer orders.
• Carefully packing glasses frames into boxes ready for dispatch.
• Labelling and preparing completed orders for delivery.
• Handling products carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area.
• Following warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have previous warehouse, picking and packing experience (preferred but not essential).
• Be comfortable using a handheld scanner or willing to learn.
• Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be comfortable handling smaller, delicate products.
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be able to work well as part of a team.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm
Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour
