Summary

Horticulture Resource Coordinator

Brinsbury College is a unique land-based campus with outstanding facilities, commercial growing spaces and ambitious sustainability goals. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced horticultural professional to play a key role in supporting curriculum delivery, leading innovative growing practices and helping develop the next generation of horticultural talent.

As our Horticulture Resource Coordinator, you will:

• Manage day-to-day horticultural and glasshouse resources.

• Support staff and students during practical and theory sessions.

• Take ownership of health and safety procedures, risk assessments and compliance.

• Supervise apprentices and student workers, where required.

• Manage stock control, ordering and resource budgets.

What you will bring to the role:

• Relevant horticultural industry experience

• A Level 2 qualification in Horticulture (or equivalent)

• Experience supervising groups and supporting learners

• Knowledge of horticultural health and safety legislation

• Practical experience of machinery operation and horticultural practices
