The role of an Internal Resourcing Consultant is to build strong business relationships with key stakeholders, understand their current and future resourcing needs, and develop trust and credibility. This includes considering options and presenting solutions to address resourcing challenges. The consultant will liaise effectively with the assigned Resourcer and Resourcing Coordinator(s), to ensure the appropriate support and business focus are provided to meet organisational needs.

This is a Home-Based role with some travel to department training days and home visits within the Somerset and Wales region who you will be supporting.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and crafting compelling job adverts.

- Screen applications, conduct pre-screens, and coordinate subsequent interviews. Support hiring managers with designing a selection process specific to their brief.

- Manage vacancies, the candidate pipeline, and accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

About you

The successful applicant will have:

- Proven experience in Internal Recruitment or similar role

- Possess solid experience of a variety of direct recruiting methods, applicant tracking systems and CV databases

- Proven experience of meeting targets and deadlines

- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices
