Summary

Healthcare Assistant - Amber Valley Community Nursing Team 

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our Community Nursing Team . You will be joining a large and established team of Healthcare Assistants and Registered  Nurses. Who are led by a District Nurse. 

The shifts are allocated as early and late shifts which are 7.5 hours in duration. Early shifts are from 08:30 - 16:30 and late shifts are from 10:30 - 16:30. The team allocate these as per your working hours over a 7 day period with weekends. 

We are looking for a caring and compassionate person who has a passion for delivering high quality end of life care. Experience within the healthcare setting is of importance to ensure that you are equipped with the skills required for this job. 

Healthcare Assistant 

The main duties of the job will include the following:

- Wound Care 

- Continence management, including catheter care.

- Pressure area care.

- Communication to all staff within the Integrated Community Team alongside use of a laptop to write patient records within Systmone.
