Summary

Would you like to join our admin team, who provide support to  Clinical Staff In Derby City 

If so, we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic administrator to join our team!

We have 2 part time roles (20hrs) worked across Monday-Friday. Shift patterns to be negotiable.

1 post based at Coleman HC (DE24 8NH)

1 post based at Village MC  (DE23 8AL)

The role involves a variety of administrative tasks supporting the  function of Community Care Services. You will be providing support to the Core community teams across Derby City

We  would welcome applications from experienced admin staff who would like to start a career in the NHS or simply start in a new team and develop new skills.

Provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Team

Undertake administrative duties including  word processing, excel, data entry, photocopying, and filing both electronic and paper-based documents

Provide first contact via telephone for queries, respond to day to day enquiries and maintain an efficient message taking system

Assist with archiving activities and filing updates e.g. staffs personal files, patients electronic records etc.

Enter and extract data from DCHS systems as needed

Support on various audits ensuring governance and standards are maintained

Process unassigned tasks s on the SystmOne unit

Travel  between various sites as required.

Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.

We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people’s own homes and via virtual consultations.

During the pandemic response we have led the implementation of public vaccination centres in collaboration with partners across health and social care.
