An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, testing and repairing a range of fire alarm and life-safety systems across customer sites.
The role will suit an experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.
• Undertake testing, inspection and commissioning of fire alarm equipment.
• Complete service reports and relevant documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current industry standards and legislation.
• Liaise professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of any faults or remedial works required.
• Work independently while maintaining close communication with the wider engineering team.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Fire Alarm Service Engineer will ideally have:
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• A good understanding of relevant fire alarm standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Relevant industry qualifications or manufacturer training would be advantageous.
