Supporting procurement activities, contract management and commercial decision-making.

Producing performance reports and presenting information to senior leaders, elected members and governance groups.

Leading service improvement initiatives and supporting the ongoing modernisation of Housing Property Services.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and health and safety requirements.

About you

We are seeking a confident and experienced leader who can successfully manage large-scale investment programmes and inspire high-performing teams.

You will be able to demonstrate:

Significant experience delivering capital investment, construction, planned maintenance or property improvement programmes.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing large operational teams through change and transformation.

Excellent financial management and budget control experience.

Experience of managing operational risk, performance, compliance and continuous improvement activities.

A commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes and achieving value for money.

A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and service delivery.

The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.

Experience within social housing or local government is desirable, although applications are welcomed from candidates with transferable experience from related sectors.
