Summary
This is an exciting time to join St Helens Carers Centre, as we continue to develop and deliver high-quality services that support unpaid carers of all ages across the borough. We are a Centre of Excellence, currently supporting over 16,000 Adult Carers, 394 Young Adult Carers and more than 930 Young Carers.
As a service we provide a wide range of support, including Carers Assessments, wellbeing support, groups, training, respite opportunities, information, advice and advocacy. We deliver accessible, person-centred support through face-to-face and telephone services, ensuring Carers can access help in the way that best suits their needs.
The successful postholder will join a small team of Carer Admin Officers, providing administrative support. A key responsibility will be coordinating the Carers Emergency Card scheme, including processing applications, maintaining accurate records, updating contingency plans, issuing cards, and responding to enquiries. The role is essential in ensuring Carers have effective emergency plans in place, giving reassurance that those they care for will be supported if an emergency occurs.
We are inviting applications from candidates who are caring, passionate, self-motivated, and want to make a difference to the lives of Carers.
