You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click Apply now to view in Trac The post holder will contribute a high level of professional expertise to the multi-disciplinary team by providing the Educational Professionals perspective in the multi-professional assessment and management of children with cochlear implants. The post holder will be expected to provide an out-reach service across South Wales, delivered in the Childrens Hospital for Wales, nurseries/schools and on a domiciliary basis in patients homes. The post holder will be responsible for their designated caseloadand will ensure the completion and distribution of team review reports. The post holder will be required to work effectively in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary Cochlear Implant Team, as well as providing a high level of specialist clinical expertise, advice, guidance, support and training to the wider team supporting children under the Cochlear Implant Teams care. This includes childrens families, education staff and other health professionals, including SLTs within the UHB and across South Wales. The post holder will undertake best practice projects, audits and research initiatives. They will be required to provide training/supervision of TOD students.
