Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a debt recovery expert to join our successful Revenues and Benefits Team. In this role you will work as part of a dedicated and knowledgeable team collecting council tax, business rates, BID levy and housing benefit overpayments.

- Review accounts in arrears and decide on appropriate recovery action

- Negotiate fair and sustainable repayment plans with residents.

- Take enforcement action when necessary, following legislation and policy.

- Present evidence at court hearings

- Work closely with enforcement agents, courts and internal teams.

- Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.

This is a full-time, permanent position.
