Summary

Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

£29,900 per year | 40 Hours per Week | Outstanding Ofsted

 

This Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery takes a child-led approach to Early Years, creating an environment where children can develop at their own pace. Indoors, age-specific rooms provide engaging spaces and resources that support each stage of development, while the large outdoor area gives children plenty of room to get involved in everything from sandpit play and mud kitchen creations to active exploration and discovery.

 

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you’ll help children make the most of these environments while providing the consistent, nurturing support they need to grow in confidence and independence.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A

    full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above

  • Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

  • Strong knowledge of the

    EYFS and child development

  • An understanding of

    child-led learning and how to extend children's interests through play

  • Confidence creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning opportunities

  • A warm and nurturing approach with children

  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

  • Strong communication skills with families and colleagues

Your Role

  • Provide high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS

  • Follow children's interests and create opportunities for child-led exploration and discovery

  • Support children's confidence, independence and individual development

  • Plan engaging activities and experiences based on observations and next steps

  • Make the most of the nursery's age-specific rooms and extensive outdoor space

  • Observe and record children's progress and development

  • Build positive relationships with children and their families

  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain the nursery's Outstanding standards

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing
