Summary

Nursery Practitioner

£27,000–£30,800 per year | 40 Hours per Week (4 Days Considered) | Level 3 | Permanent

 

This Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery, set within beautiful surroundings, offers a warm and welcoming environment where children are encouraged to grow in confidence, express their creativity, and develop a lifelong love of learning. With an enriching curriculum, engaging play experiences, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration, every day brings something new for both children and practitioners.

 

The nursery can offer a 40-hour contract, with the option to work this across 4 days, providing flexibility while still ensuring consistency for the children. Flexibility across the working week is essential.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant

    Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

  • Previous experience working within an early years setting.

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.

  • A warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive.

  • Flexibility to work across the week when required.

Your Role

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Plan and support engaging activities that promote children's confidence, creativity, and development.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their individual learning journeys.

  • Encourage outdoor exploration and child-led learning through enriching play experiences.

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery practice.

  • Work collaboratively with your team to provide exceptional early years education and care.
