Our client, a respected and high-quality provider of residential care for children, is seeking a passionate, experienced, and inspirational

Registered Manager to lead one of their homes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven leader who is committed to delivering outstanding care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

What you'll be doing:

Lead and develop a warm, nurturing, and safe home environment where children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.

Ensure all aspects of care meet the highest standards, with effective implementation of each child's individual Placement Plan.

Work collaboratively with health, education, and therapeutic professionals to support children's development and wellbeing.

Maintain full compliance with

Children's Homes Regulations

and

Ofsted SCCIF

, ensuring the home operates to the highest regulatory and professional standards.

Inspire, support, and develop your team through regular supervision, training, and performance management.

Oversee day-to-day operations, including safeguarding, health & safety, and accurate record-keeping.

Promote a positive culture centred on openness, inclusivity, diversity, and anti-discriminatory practice.

Manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing rotas while ensuring the home remains a safe, clean, and homely environment.

What you'll bring:

NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

Proven experience leading and developing teams within a residential childcare setting.

Strong organisational, IT, and time management skills.

Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, children's legislation, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Ability to build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and undertake sleep-in duties when required.

Existing Ofsted registration as a Registered Manager (or eligibility to achieve this).
