Summary
Grounds Maintenance Operative needed in South East London Paying £14.10 per hr ref OR114111
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers.
- Perform hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, and leaf clearance.
- Maintain flowerbeds, shrubs, and landscaped areas.
- Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation as required.
- Remove litter and ensure outdoor areas are clean and safe.
- Undertake basic fencing, paving, and grounds repairs.
- Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment and machinery.
- Carry out seasonal maintenance activities, including gritting and snow clearance where required.
- Report hazards, damage, anti-social behaviour, or health and safety concerns.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents and members of the public.
