We’re looking for a Reconciliation (Stock Control) Supervisor to join our team in Clitheroe and take the lead on our manufacturing
reconciliation process following the introduction of M3.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of an important area of our operation. You’ll lead a team of Reconciliation
Operatives, work closely with colleagues across Production, Finance, Supply Chain, Stock Control and Planning, and help ensure our
physical material usage and system information stay aligned.
You won’t simply be correcting numbers when something doesn’t match. You’ll be asking why, identifying trends, finding root causes
and helping us build stronger, more effective processes for the future.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Pay: £16.12 per hour (£31,434 per annum + Overtime available)

What you’ll be doing
As our Reconciliation ( Stock Control) Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day reconciliation process, ensuring
activities are completed accurately, consistently and on time:
* Leading and supporting our Reconciliation Operatives, creating a knowledgeable, engaged and high-performing team.
* Taking ownership of daily manufacturing reconciliation, including stock counts, MO reconciliation, system transactions and
reporting.
* Acting as the operational gatekeeper for Material Usage Variance (MUV), material consumption, Manufacturing Order issues and
stock exceptions.
* Reviewing reconciliation and material-usage reports, spotting significant or recurring variances and coordinating
investigations.
* Investigating BOM exceptions, master-data concerns and process issues, making sure actions reach the right people and are
followed through to resolution.
* Monitoring MO issuing and backflushing, open-order housekeeping and consumption accuracy.
* Overseeing routine and targeted stock counts and ensuring discrepancies are properly investigated before system adjustments are
made.
* Providing clear daily and weekly reporting on MUV, stock discrepancies, negative stock, unresolved transactions, recurring
causes and actions.
* Working closely with Production, Finance, Supply Chain, Stock Control and Planning to resolve issues and improve inventory
accuracy.
* Supporting the TOPUTAWAY handover between Manufacturing and Warehouse/Supply Chain.
* Using data and trends to identify losses, recurring problems and opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Supporting the ongoing stabilisation of M3 and helping embed effective processes as our systems and ways of working continue to
develop.
What we’re looking for
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate stock and material variances.
* A good understanding of manufacturing stock flows, material consumption, BOMs and production reporting.
* Confidence using ERP systems, Excel and reporting tools, with the ability to learn and oversee M3 transactions and reports.
* The ability to lead, coach and develop a small team.
* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and integrity.
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
* Experience within stock control, production control, planning or manufacturing systems.
* Experience using M3 or another manufacturing ERP system.
* Knowledge of MUV, BOM investigation, inventory reconciliation or Manufacturing Order control.
* As a Supervisor, you’ll lead by example in maintaining our high standards for Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality.
