create Food to Feel Good - great quality, tasty and affordable food that people love to eat.
We’re home to some of the UK’s most exciting and loved food brands, including Wall’s Pastry, Pork Farms, Wrights, The Real
Yorkshire Pudding Co., unearthed, Vadasz, Squeaky Bean, Palace Culture, and Harvey & Brockless. Alongside our branded portfolio,
we’re a leading supplier of delicious own-label pastry, sweet bakery, party food, olives and antipasti, added-value egg products,

the future of food for the better.
What you’ll be doing
As a Stock Control Operative, you’ll help keep our physical stock, manufacturing activity and system records aligned. Your
responsibilities will include:
* Completing scheduled and targeted stock counts across manufacturing areas.
* Reconciling Manufacturing Order (MO) issuing and backflushing activity and identifying where material consumption hasn’t posted
correctly.
* Completing agreed M3 system transactions and stock amendments, ensuring records remain accurate and fully traceable.
* Carrying out MO housekeeping, checking open or incomplete orders and escalating anything preventing accurate closure.
* Monitoring the production-side TOPUTAWAY process, ensuring manufacturing reporting is complete before handover to Supply Chain
and Despatch.
* Investigating differences between physical and system stock and gathering information to help identify the root cause.
* Spotting failed, missing or incorrect transactions and escalating recurring issues.
* Producing regular reconciliation and stock reports, highlighting exceptions, negative stock and outstanding actions.
* Working collaboratively with Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain and Stock Control to resolve stock and transaction issues.
* Providing cover across the reconciliation process to support the agreed 7-day/shift coverage model.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to know everything about M3 from day one. What’s most important is that you’re accurate, curious and comfortable
investigating when something doesn’t look right.
You’ll ideally bring:
* Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Confidence using computer-based systems and spreadsheets.
* The ability and willingness to learn M3 transactions and reporting.
* A methodical approach to investigating discrepancies and solving problems.
* An understanding of manufacturing material flow, stock movement or production reporting.
* Previous experience within stock control, warehousing, production reporting or ERP systems.
* Experience with stock counting, reconciliation or manufacturing-order transactions.
