Summary
Greeting and seating customers, and presenting menus
Taking food and drink orders accurately, and relaying them to kitchen/bar staff
Serving food and beverages promptly and correctly
Answering questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens
Upselling specials, drinks, or additional courses where appropriate
Checking in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction
Clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests
Processing payments and handling the bill accurately
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
Following food hygiene and allergen regulations
Working closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
