Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our staff team.
We are looking for someone who can nurture, inspire and motivate pupils and has experience of working in a Primary school. Early years experience is preferable but not essential. Although you must hold one of the approved early years qualifications
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement work programmes with individuals and groups, in or out of the classroom. This may include children who require detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
Hold a relevant Level 3 Child Care or Teaching Assistants qualification
• Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills and a good working knowledge of the revised statutory requirements in early years’ foundation stage
• Have the knowledge understanding and skills to support the EYFS team and 2-year-old provision
• Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved
• Have the ethos and philosophy to build good relationships with children and parents, support daily routines in a stimulating and creative setting and help to provide rich experiences to enable our children to become effective learners
• Have a commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children
