We are proud of our warm and inclusive school community and are seeking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Level 1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team.This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in accessing learning, developing communication and independence skills, and making progress towards their individual goals.We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people, works well as part of a team and is committed to helping pupils reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be patient, flexible and able to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.This is an opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive team committed to providing the highest quality education and care, ensuring that every pupil is valued, included and encouraged to succeed.Hours: 32 ½ hours per week - 39 weeks (school term time + 5 training days).Salary: Grade Band 4, Points 7 - 10, £20,835 - £22,210 (actual salary)

The successful candidate will have good basic education.

Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS check. Applicants will also be required to undertake pre-employment checks which will include a declaration that neither they, nor anyone who lives in the same household, is a disqualified person under the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2018 as well as other necessary checks.

Online checks will also be carried out on shortlisted candidates in line with KCSIE recommendations.
